Volunteer ushers work with front-of-house staff to welcome, guide, and ensure the safety and comfort of all patrons.

As ambassadors for DPT, volunteer ushers play a critical role in ensuring patrons, donors, artists, students, staff, and all guests enjoy an exceptional experience at every performance and event. 

Volunteer ushers are welcome to watch the performances they usher, provided those performances are not sold out. In the event of a sell out, each volunteer usher will be given a complimentary ticket to another performance of that show.
